All personal files are kept in a secure place, and information contained within these files is kept confidential. The Company adheres to the Data Protection Act.
Employees must always keep the Company informed of their current home address and, unless there are special reasons for not doing so, their home telephone number. Details of their next-of-kin and where they can normally be contacted are also required. It is essential that this information is available for many reasons, especially if they are involved in an accident, an emergency, or taken ill whilst at work.
From time to time the Company will issue a form for completion by all Workers for checking the accuracy of its records/ personal information held on file. It is mandatory that such forms issued are completed by Workers.
This will be covered in the Application form and filed into the employees file. |
